Primer
The primer and paint I used are both RM products.
I used Glasurit high build filler primer and Limco paint. |

Body filler is needed to smooth out around
the areas that were welded. As pictured above, I used the good
stuff: USC Icing body filler. This stuff is really expensive but
its so nice to work with. |

The high solids primer is applied once, I
used a board sander (hand) and sanded it down to get the high
spots. |
|
A second coat of filler primer is applied
and then hand-sanded to 320 grit. I could have gone to 400 or
even up to 800 grit paper but it's just an old pickup truck. |
